Jeremy Lin May Be The Dumbest Harvard Grad Ever – Forbes

NEW YORK, NY - FEBRUARY 17: (L) Jeremy Lin #17...

Jeremy Lin May Be The Dumbest Harvard Grad Ever – Forbes.

Here is one of my favorite articles discussing the latest in the end of ‘Linsanity.’  In summary, his decision to take an extra $5 million from Houston in the third year of his deal potentially cost him $10′s of millions worth of potential endorsements if he were to remain in New York.  Instead the unproven player goes to a smaller market with a severely back-loaded contract.  The Knicks had no choice but to let him walk after Lin let greed get the best of him.  He may have wanted to remain in New York, but he made some questionable decisions that showed otherwise.  At least he won’t have to sleep on his brother’s couch anymore.  As Stephen A. Smith pointed out several times, he only played in 25 games, he seemed to disappear when Stoudemire and Anthony were both on the court, and he refused to play in the playoffs because he was only at 85% health.  Let him walk and take his poor decision making to Houston.
